JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall

  • Managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, optimizing landing page and keyword strategy to boost rankings on all major search engine networks.
  • Identify trends and insights in order to achieve the highest ranking for the website.
  • Updates to website architecture, content and linking to provide the best user experience and improve the websites overall usability. Responsible for the reporting of performance and progression of the SEO strategy to reach KPI’s.

Collaboration

  • Liaise with the content team to implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
  • Work with development team to ensure SEO best practices are perfectly implemented.
  • Collaborate with Web Developers, Content Writers, and Business Managers to ensure all projects have clear requirements.
  • Collaborate with and synthesize feedback from Marketing Head and other team members to ensure consistency in SEO integration, execution and analysis.
  • Liaise with paid search and social team to drive alignment on content and marketing communication

Website

  • Audit all TASC web properties for SEO Issues and implement the required change.
  • Review and analyse site structure to ensure quality, content and readability by search engines and identify areas for growth and optimization
  • Develop and maintain a clear SEO strategy deck for each web property, covering all deliverables involved which must be updated minimally each quarter.
  • To assist with identification of potential site improvements, utilize 3rd party tools like Copyscape, Majestic SEO, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Trends, SEMRush, Moz Pro. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Keyword Tool.
  • Troubleshoot negative trends in key performance indicators and search engine visibility, determine the cause of trend and take corrective action.
  • Responsible for technical audits/optimization, content optimization as well as link building, data analysis and its reporting.
  • Daily execution and maintenance of on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including keyword analysis, keyword research, and opportunity analysis as a primary responsibility.

SEO Implementation

  • Determine SEO strategies, and work with content, design, strategy and technology teams to implement SEO strategies and ensure sites are search engine friendly.
  • Monitor SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends directly and make changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines; Identify proper keywords for SEO implementation
  • Utilizing TASC’s analytics platform, analyze and evaluate website performance including, but not limited to, organic visits, visitors, form submissions, conversion rate, bounce rate, and visibility (keyword ranking data)

Research

  • Performing daily keyword research including semantic keyword research and expansion of keyword opportunities. Conduct Keyword/Persona Research on a regular interval.
  • To carry out advanced and detailed keyword research to identify the most effective and targeted key phrases for each web property.
  • Drive keyword research analysis to inform organic search optimization, information architecture and landing page optimization in close partnership with development and content teams; provide site content recommendations

Optimization

  • To carry out detailed back link analysis and devise innovative link building campaign ideas.
  • Develop and execute strategies to advance organic rankings to improve organic traffic & revenue.
  • Complete onsite optimization of page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, sitemaps, navigation, and site architecture improvements.
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify new strategies to facilitate SEO growth, analyze competitor techniques, and benchmark against global index.
  • Maintain local SEO for the brand and its subsidiaries and ensure data integrity across all major local listings and directories
  • Execute on strategies using strictly white-hat search engine optimization tactics. Including content optimization, metadata optimization, schema markup implementation, canonicalising of URLs, 301 redirects, and natural backlink building.
  • Implementation of SEO core elements including Technical SEO (UX, site architecture, URL structure, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, dynamic/static pages, etc.), On-Page Optimization (Metadata, Headings, Content, Anchor Links, Navigation, etc.)

Reporting

  • Prepare periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly, as appropriate to the project) that surface important trends and campaign progress in relevant KPIs, using properly formatted charts, tables, and narratives as appropriate.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate / PG degree in Management.
  • Certifications in Digital Marketing & SEO
  • Minimum of 6 years agency or in-house SEO experience.
  • Strong familiarity with multiple Analytics solutions (e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics etc.) & Hands-on experience with Google & Bing Webmaster Tools, Moz, SEMrush, Crazy egg etc.
  • Proficient in Google web master and Google Search Console

Technical Competencies

  • Experience with keyword research and tracking keyword rankings
  • Must have a general understanding of Google algorithm, crawl errors, indexation, page speed, and other technical SEO elements
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Solid knowledge of Google/Bing Webmaster Tools accounts, Search engine crawling and indexing.
  • Deep knowledge of website structures, technologies and design (e.g. UI/UX optimization concepts, Mobile Friendly design, conversion optimization)
  • Knowledge of technical SEO tactics including optimization for page speed, mobile first indexing, structured data, HTTPS, XML sitemaps, hreflang and Schema.org
  • Knowledge of Google’s Ranking Factors and Google SERP elements like Knowledge Graph, Local and Answer Box
