Can I put my dependent visa cancellation on hold while I shift to a new visa?

Yes, you will have to pay a refundable deposit of AED 5000 to GDRFA to hold your dependents visa, while you shift to a new residence visa.

What about visa status of my dependents?

You need to first get your Labor cancellation completed with us, post which you need to proceed for dependents visa cancellation/ holding. Post this, we can cancel your visa.

How much time does it take for final settlement?

After the cancellation of the visa, the final settlement will take 10 working days provided your final approved time sheet till last working day is shared with attendance team.

When will I receive my experience letter?

You will receive an experience letter within 5 working days after your visa cancellation date.

How long does the visa cancellation process take?

After the employee signs the cancellation document, the mainland visa cancellation takes 2 - 4 working days & the TECOM DMCC visa cancellation takes 10-12 working days.

An express cancellation process will take 2 – 3 working days, the cost of which will be borne by the employee or client based on who requests an express cancellation.

What documents are required for my visa cancellation process to start?

After serving your notice period, you can start the visa cancellation process by visiting the TASC office to submit your insurance card, original passport and signed copy of visa cancellation document. If you can’t visit our office to drop your insurance card, you have option of couriering it to us. After we have these documents, you will have to sign a visa cancellation document to start the visa cancellation process.
